Scope and Contents

Five portfolios that contain a large array of original drawings, woodcut prints, publication proofs, posters, and other items; all of which either feature artwork produced by Roger Law or relate in some fashion to his professional activities with various publications, organisations and companies. There are also some items that were made in collaboration with Deirdre Amsden.

Artwork produced by Roger Law in a professional capacity. The material present has been split into three main sections: art portfolios, The Establishment nightclub murals/giant cartoon strips, and woodcuts.

Scope and Contents Material relating to Roger Law's professional output, mainly as a magazine and newspaper illustrator, between 1959 and 1975, prior to his working partnership with Peter Fluck. It should be noted that Law's artwork began to be published while he was still studying at the Cambridge School of Art.
